Another sold-out crowd enjoyed delectable appetizers and mouth-watering desserts at this year’s “A Taste of Rim Country.” Emcee and DJ Fred Carpenter kept the evening lively with musical selections designed to please everyone. The 50/50 raffle brought in a total of $947.00, half of which one very lucky lady won. The sponsorships came to a total of $9,250, and after expenses, the gala evening brought in a total of $16,210.

All proceeds benefit the general fund of the Library Friends of Payson which supports programs, materials, and supplies not included in the Payson Library’s regular budget.

And not to be forgotten are the over 70 volunteers who worked behind the scenes to assist with set-up, cleaning, dishwashing, trash pickup, security, and other assorted tasks to ensure that everyone enjoyed themselves.
